General Information:
Once entering from the welcoming portico, the foyer with its Italian porcelain tile, yields to an open floor plan of white ash hardwood floors and the sky-reaching vaulted great room. This is centered on a double open massive fireplace built of Kentucky Dolomite limestone. This focal point of family and group activity is accented by an exterior panorama directly into the western lake sunset through floor to ceiling windows as well as the interior post and beam architecture and decors.

The full-service gourmet kitchen provides well adequate floor space of Italian porcelain tile for several cooks to prepare the "catch of the day." It is equipped with a Wolf range/oven, large refrigerator/freezer, microwave, warming drawer, dishwasher and double sink, all incorporated within hand crafted solid maple cabinets and Juparano gold granite countertops. All cookware, utensils and other cooking necessities are provided.

The dining area is integrated with the great room. Appointed with Versailles in-laid hardwood dining table and buffet with seating for 10 plus, the dining area is intimately contiguous with the great room with buffalo-hide leather furnishings. The adjacent kitchen bar area and bistro breakfast table allow a larger number to dine as one group. This allows for both formal and everyday dining with family and guests with direct view of the expansive lake.

The large family room provides relaxation, music and a piano for the talented (or want to be talented), centered on the opposite side of the open fireplace. A large, inviting buffalo hide couch and soft leather chairs allow each visitor to be comfortable during their visit.

The lower level features an open area media room with built-in large HDTV, DVD, stereo with surround sound and a pool table. Here, two bedrooms, each with garden and lake views to the west offer the "Kentucky Wildcat Blue Room," with a queen bed and full bath and the separate "Ashley" bedroom with a "Madeline" king daybed and full private bath.

The upper level is accessed by stairs from the family room arriving to a gallery which overlooks the central great room through hand crafted wrought-iron balusters. This leads, on the south lake side of the home, to the "Spa Room" master suite. Beautifully appointed in sky blue colors, the south and west lake views extend for miles. Gazing out at the right time, eagles can be seen soaring over the tree line. A skylight allows observation of the southwest constellations at night. The master bath includes a two-person Jacuzzi, a tiled double shower and built-in handcrafted cabinetry. A queen bed is filled with a TempurPedic mattress for a restful night. Walk up three steps from the master suite to a large interior observation deck or "Aerie" to experience the breathtaking westerly panoramas over miles of Dale Hollow lake, its shoreline and bountiful wildlife. Two additional large bedrooms, the "View" room and the "Shabby-Chic" room, host queen beds and share a large full bath. Both bedrooms can directly access the "Aerie," via the gallery.

From the "Aerie" step up to a bridge which traverses the entire width of the loft area, connecting two loft bedrooms on the north and south wings. The north loft "Nautical" bedroom, brags two sky lights through which nighttime sky-gazing can occur and a breathtaking view of the beautiful Kentucky hillside that rolls into the water. The south loft "Sportsmanís" bedroom, allows for a view of the southern lake as well as a beautiful old walnut tree outside of the window and hopefully, a glimpse of a heron or a deer running through the woods below.

Our home creates a welcoming "country elegance" and relaxing atmosphere for responsible individuals seeking family vacations, reunions and church retreats or private meetings.
