Seven uniquely appointed bedrooms, each with a distinctive view and personality. Two bedrooms, one queen bed and one full-size bed with two bathrooms are located on the ground floor. There are three queen bedrooms with two bathrooms located on the 3rd floor and on the 4th floor, there are two queen bedrooms.
Crystal clear Dale Hollow Lake is nestled on the Kentucky-Tennessee border with 620 miles of undeveloped pristine shoreline and 30,000 acres of the bluest water imaginable. This lake is widely considered one of the cleanest lakes in the United States. The shoreline of Dale Hollow lake is maintained by the Army Corp of Engineers and no private homes nor private docks are allowed on the undisturbed shoreline. Water depths range from 18 to more than 30 feet.
A full range of lake water sports and activities are available on Dale Hollow lake, including waterskiing, jet-skiing, kayaking, boating, swimming, tubing, horseback riding, bird watching and miles of hiking trails. In addition to its cleanliness, Dale Hollow Lake is best known as a world class fishing lake. An immense variety of fish, including some of the best sustained bass populations in the southern United States is widely acclaimed. The world record small mouth bass (11 lbs. 15 oz.) was caught just a few hundred yards from Eagles Haven.
For golfers, Dale Hollow lake State Resort Park is located a 35-minute drive (25.5 mi.) by car, or a 25-minute boat ride with shuttle from the dock to the course occurring from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. daily during the summer. This 18-hole, par 72, golf course has bent grass tees leading to zoysia fairways and large undulating bent grass greens. Other course features include numerous rock outcroppings, small caves, springs, gorges, two ponds and mountain views.
If you enjoy fishing, this is the service for you! The BEST striper fishing in the area can be found at Lake Cumberland, just a short drive from Eagles Haven.
Mammoth Cave is one of the SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD and is located 1 hour 45 minutes (85.6 miles) from Eagles Haven. Mammoth Cave is the longest cave system known in the world. There are more than 400 miles of surveyed passageways. The history of this natural wonder is incredible, and tours are provided by the National Park Service.
There are several local eateries and wineries for exploration within a few miles of Eagles Haven if you decide you wish the leave ‘home’ during your visit.
